Hospice volunteers provided companionship to end-of-life clients and those who are grieving. Our volunteers also reach out to the community from the hospice kiosk located at the Elk Valley Hospital and at community events to build awareness and raise funds to support hospice care.
End-of-Life & Bereavement Companions
Trained volunteer End-of-Life & Bereavement Companions provide a range of services, from emotional support and comfort care to helping individuals adjusting to grief, loss and bereavement. They can also provide some respite time to caregivers who need a much needed break. Read more under How We Can Help.
